In 1990, Mervyn Hecht, a successful lawyer who graduated from Harvard Law School,  retired from the practice of law and combined his love of business with his love of wine to start Fourcade & Hecht Wine Selections - which he solely & successfully owned and managed until 2005.

Today the Company represents the convergence of three highly respected professionals in the wine business and benefits both from their established relationships and expertise, together with a steadily growing office and road staff of top level professionals.

Diego Meraviglia, Vice-President & Italian Wine Director, a 4th level Sommelier ISA (Italian Sommelier Association) and one of the leading experts in Italian wines in the United States. Winner of various respected international awards, he is also a Certified Specialist of Wine with the SWE (Society of Wine Educators) and regularly teaches & consults in the greater Los Angeles territory.

With a corporate headquarters in Huntington Beach, F&H and its Las Vegas sister company - LV Cellars (under the management of Indio Durand ), both imports and distributes wines of impeccable provenance & quality from about 80 wineries located in France, Italy, United States, Argentina and New Zealand.

Top notch service from the winery to the retailer, including efficient operations, friendly and qualified staff, temperature controlled warehouse and delivery trucks, is what Fourcade & Hecht strives for.

In addition to selling wines into twenty eight states, F&H’s local sales people in both Northern and Southern California, as well as North Carolina and South Carolina, provide personalized and professional service to restaurants, wine bars and retail stores, supplying their customers with superior quality wines at the most reasonable of prices.
